I needed good , quality, reasonably priced painting and I needed it quick...after reading other reviews I called Mr Polite and he was able to come out right away to give an estimate. His pricing was fair and comparable or lower than other local painters. He showed me pictures of some projects he had just completed and I was very impressed. There’s nothing worse than hiring a company to paint your house’s exterior and then wondering if they cut corners in the process. Even though he was booked up and couldn’t paint our house, we had been impressed by Mr. Polite’s knowledge, so we called him and described our concerns about the work another company was doing. He actually offered to drive all the way over and inspect the job for us right then, free of charge! He was just being a good guy, no strings attached. Mr. Polite displayed a real mastery of the details as he explained where the other company indeed had cut corners and then was kind enough to speak to them very diplomatically on our behalf, pointing out what was good but also what could’ve been done better. The other company’s owner respected what Mr. Polite said and agreed to make things right. Palmetto Quality Painting did a great job painting my townhouse. They painted a 3 bedroom two bath house, including kitchen cabinets and moulding in 8 days. They also stayed on schedule despite the New Year's Day holiday and a freak icy/snow day in Charleston. The paint job was beautiful.
